Guizhou is a place that calls to me. Nestled in the southwestern corner of China, it’s a land of unique geographical and cultural treasures. Despite economic disparities and development challenges compared to the eastern coast, I see Guizhou full of beauty and hope—rolling mountains, ancient villages, vibrant cultures, and nice people. And then there’s the food! Guizhou’s sour beef hotpot is a must-try.
